It has happened to all of us. One year, we knock it out of the park, and the next year, nothing falls right and we end up at 79%. ๐Ÿ˜ฑ

I remember when this happened to me. I had just had a baby, and one of my deals ended up deciding not to take delivery, so I had a huge de-book that I was dealing with right when I got back from maternity leave.

And that was really hard on the old ego, after years and years of being at the top.

But my funnel stayed healthy, and I bounced back the next year in a big way.

This worry and stress is what makes sales so hard. Sometimes it seems like it's, "What have you done for me lately?"

But it doesn't always have to be the end of the world to have a bad year. There are things we can do to protect ourselves, create value and stand out, even through a bad year or two.
