COLD CALLS: The First 5 Seconds Are Crucial

When you call someone on the ☎️ phone for the first time, here’s what you should NOT do:

👉 Launch into a long explanation (without taking a breath) of why you called and what products you represent
👉 Say, "I'm sorry to bother you but..."
👉 Tell them you’re just updating your database

The first few seconds of your call is crucial. Many, many sales reps make these basic mistakes.

And you can lose them easily if you don’t make a plan BEFORE you call.
